Writers:
We will be looking for 1 to 2 writing samples. 1 MUST be a sapphic work, and 1 MUST be an original work- they can be the same sample if you'd like. The optional 2nd sample can be fanfiction and/or non-sapphic. 1000-1500 words. More information will be available on the application form.
Artists & Cartoonists:
We will be looking for either a publically available body of work (online portfolio) or a drive link with 8-15 samples of art indicative of the style of art you'd like to make for the zine. We will additionally be looking to see 1 previously made sapphic work of yours. More information will be available on the application form.

Inspired by the brain-melting ideas you can find scrolling fanfic at three in the morning, future buff is a zine collective seeking to share and promote romances between masc women that make you kick your feet in joy or squeal in anguish at what the creator has done to your feelings.
We want trope-aware, high concept, genre-bending art, comics, and writings about masc women that make you want to fit them in your mouth from the premise alone. Please. 🤲 Your zine curators are hungry.
